Longwood Antique is a special collection of prefinished wood flooring that gives rooms an absolutely original touch thanks to large splits and knots, perfect for enhancing both rustic and modern minimalist styles. The planks are suitable for floating or glued installation.

MATERIAL COMPOSITION
Longwood Antique is a 2-ply prefinished wood floor with trendy rustic finishes that feature splits and knots. Repainted with 5 coats of 10% gloss acrylic varnish and finished with medium brushing. Composed of two layers: a noble oak top layer and a pine and poplar multilayer. Cut staves are possible up to 25% of the contents of each package.

INSTALLATION
Before laying Longwood Antique wood flooring, it is necessary to check that the subfloor is smooth, flat, compact and dry. Two types of laying are possible: glued laying is recommended in case there is the presence of heated subfloor because it optimizes its thermal transmission (minimum heat loss) without creating, thanks to gluing, air bubbles between the screed and the parquet. Floating installation recreates a single surface simply resting on the subfloor.

MAINTENANCE
Dry cleaning is done with a broom. Sand and grainy dirt are likely to ruin the floor if stepped on or dragged, so it is necessary to remove them quickly. Cleaning with detergents should be done only if the floor is very dirty; do not use detergents containing solvents, only neutral-based ones.
