V-Deck
BASIC INFORMATION:
MATERIAL COMPOSITION
Our WPC flooring, V-Deck, is composed of wood flour from sustainably managed forests, recycled plastic resins and a minimum percentage of additives and dyes. Recognised by the National Action Plan on Green Public Procurement (NAP GPP) implemented by the Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea, as a solution with the lowest possible impact on the environment throughout its life cycle.
INSTALLATION
Store the WPC planks of the V-Deck floor and support profiles flat, avoiding sunlight before installation. The area on which the floor is to be installed must be thoroughly cleaned, and its surface must be flat and perfectly even with a slope of 3 mm per metre to ensure water drainage. The planks are attached by means of clips above the joist structure, in galvanised iron or aluminium, joined alternately.
MAINTENANCE
Sandblasting, stain removal or painting are not required. The only caution required is periodic cleaning with a broom or mop and washing with water when necessary. The use of a pressure washer is recommended for easy removal of mud or other debris. A Virag-recommended protectant should be used to make the material water-repellent and easier to clean intense stains that are not removed by rain.
MAINTENANCE
V-Deck WPC flooring does not require sandblasting, stain removal or painting. The only thing required is periodic cleaning with a broom or mop and washing with water when necessary. A high-pressure cleaner is recommended for easy removal of mud or other debris. It is advisable to use a protective coating recommended by Virag to make the material water-repellent and easier to clean intense stains that are not removed by rain.
